Lyme Disease is epidemic in Lake County and surrounding areas
Join us as we raise funds to support research, education, awareness and innovative treatments for Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases.
This event is much more than just a walk, there will be lots of fabulous raffle prizes, live acoustic music, great food, valuable info on Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses, children's activities, etc. This incredible event brings together folks from from Illinois, Wisconsin and beyond.
The event begins at 10 AM with the 2.5 mile walk starting at 11 AM.
We are very pleased to have the entire beautiful Citizens Park available to us, including the Jewel Tea Pavilion, so the event will be held rain or shine!
The Lyme Support Network is a non-profit service organization dedicated to making a difference by building awareness of Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses within our community. Because our organization is run entirely by volunteers, individual and corporate donations are essential in supporting our efforts.
